Want to be a Meteorologist? Careers information day for Young People

Careers information day

Are you aged 14-20 and are careers related to weather and climate something you are considering? If so, come along to this day and hear from some people already working or studying in the field, and some of the Universities offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in weather and climate.

All under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult who will need to register themselves and then send us an email giving us the names of the young people they are accompanying. Unaccompanied young people will be required to show ID on arrival as proof of age.

This event is free of charge but registration is required to reserved your place. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

There are several shops and cafes nearby where lunch can be purchased.

Can’t make it to London? We’ll record the talks and make them available on our website http://www.metlink.org/careers-and-courses/career-links/ after the day, and you can tweet questions in to the panel discussion using #RMetSCareers.

This meeting is supported by the Institute of Physics.
